Morning eyelids
Get up, get done and on.
Daylight windows
And golden stripes of sun,
    Setting out for the town
    Work to bring it around.

Humans waking
for human need and greed,
Tell you time
As your hours speed and fleet,

Take me into the kettle

And pour out into the cups

Dusty windows and
Dirty streets lit up.
Rusty irons like
Litter-jugs, worn up,
